Soapblox/speakerbox was a project that I did for an art fair at Sarah Lawrence College.
The mad lib featured to the left of the sculpture is the artist statement. It is created by the audience and then read out loud. The speaker's voice is amplified thus modernizing the soapbox concept.
This project was a humorous attempt at exploring the sometimes cryptic ways in which artists describe their work.
